Since its founding in 1907, our company has made quality-based goods, and we have unswervingly sought to "make high quality products." That is, since its founding, our company’s philosophy has been to maintain a strong technological orientation and an uncompromising insistence on quality while supplying products that accurately meet customer needs. This has been made possible by technical knowledge gained through the advanced R&D that we have vigorously conducted since our founding.

These efforts began with research on hides during the Meiji Era. They later led to the development of high-quality gelatin. Using unique technology for extracting collagen, we subsequently created edible collagen sausage casing and collagen cosmetics. More recently, we developed chemically crosslinked PVC compounds. In these and other respects, our company’s history has also been said as a history of R&D and of technological development.

At present, we are branching out from the leather industry and conducting business in a wide range of fields, including collagen-based foods, drugs and cosmetics.

In the future, based on our total dedication to quality, we intend to continue to turn the fruits of our research into products and expand our sphere of business.
